Brooklyn Museum Corner Shop
A deep freezer inspired photo booth for the Corner Shop at the Brooklyn Museum.
Step into history at Old Glory, a unique bar and lounge nestled in the former boiler room of White Way Cleaners, once Nashville's largest steam cleaning facility. This intriguing space still boasts its original 1920s electrical boxes, coal hopper, and smokestack, seamlessly incorporated into the modern design by the Soler sisters. Although no sign marks Old Glory, you'll find its entrance by locating the golden triangle off Edgehill Avenue. Visit Old Glory at 1200 Villa Place, Suite 103, Nashville, Tennessee 37212
Since Old Glory is all about preservation and concealment, we didn't want to add any new visible objects to the space with a photo booth. So, we built out a custom booth designed to fit under their iconic staircase. The outer "casing" is the same wood used throughout the bar for seamless aesthetic integration. To further conceal the photo booth, we positioned the photo booth's printer and photo strip depositor to go under the touch screen so that there are zero photo booth elements outside the booth. Only the black velvet curtain serves as an invitation to hop inside and snap some pics at this iconic bar.
