What happens when Gucci turns 100? You go big. Over the course of a two-week period last October, Gucci celebrated its 100th anniversary by creating a stunning, five-story pop-up amidst the cobblestone streets of New York’s Meatpacking District. This pop-up was one of many across the United States and Canada designed by Gucci to celebrate its centennial and to honor the brand’s status in pop culture and beyond.

They showcased their most unique and iconic items from their Gucci 100 collection within a series of beautifully-curated rooms that perfectly highlighted the brand’s many accomplishments over the last century. When approached to design a booth for the event, we knew we must create a booth that did the same.

To match the vintage aesthetic of the space, it just had to be a Classic Photobooth — wrapping it in show-stopping, Gucci pink, and completing the look with a plush, pink-velvet seat topper. To match the significance of this milestone, we also incorporated floor-to-ceiling, pink-velvet curtains that really elevated the entire look and feel of the photo booth.
